Artist's Comments

Whoa! at last I'm satisfied with my work :D I was rendering it on ath64 3500+ for about an hour. Then i added the background. The ground is to be changed. Anyway i think the lighting is good. Any suggestions appreciated

this is an improved version
Things I've changed:
:bulletgreen: DOF effect added (z-buffer used as lens blur map in photoshop)
:bulletgreen: seamless ground-wall edge
:bulletgreen: new background with correct DOF

When those pesky neighbors come by, nothing like hot lead to send them scurrying back.
Messy pigeons are less of a problem here too.

Kudos on the minigun.

One suggestion, is it possible to show the whole minigun?
Its the subject of the picture so it should not be clipped by the edge of the picture.

The lighting IS great, and so's the modelling, but it looks like there's a little too much specular on the camo texture. The welding effect on the chrome bars is especially cool.
:iconttvortex:
Great job... The welding points of the gun just hit me...

UPDATE: i reworked all the materials, so they look less plastic and more metal. I also added this single round and sharpened some bricks. However i think it's too bright at some places. Suggestions STILL welcome! ;)

haha holy crap, thats extremely good :D excellent work, I love the lighting and texturing on it, makes it very smooth and realistic
